Membrane Technology

Membrane technology is simple. The membrane separates the wash water, rinse water, and oily wastewater into two streams. One contains the concentrated disposable water and the other contains clean water or recyclable wash water.

PRAB utilizes the latest and best-available technologies when designing ultrafiltration systems. Depending on the application, we will select hollow fiber, tubular, or other types of membranes.

Pictured Above: PRAB Tubular Ultrafiltration system used to treat oily wastewater consisting mostly of used die lube and mop bucket/floor scrubber water. This system was custom designed with twenty-two Porex Tubular Membranes (1” in diameter by 6’ long) that were vertically mounted to minimize floor space.
