Prab Stamping Scrap Removal Case Histories
Application: Stainless and Conventional Steel Stamping Removal
Two identical scrap handling systems were installed in this application. Each consisted of oscillating (vibratory) conveyors below the primary stamping presses. These conveyor lines discharge into flat-bottom Scrapveyor II™ elevating conveyors feeding swivel chutes that loads large roll-off containers. Both stainless steel and cold rolled steel were kept 100% segregated. The price differential between the metals was significant and helped cost-justify the system
Designed To Handle: Both stainless steel and conventional cold rolled steel in skeletal trim, slugs and many odd shapes up to .125 in. (3.2 mm) thick.
