Prab's New Dual Scrapveyor II™ Increases the Capacity for High Volume Metal Scrap Handling

Kalamazoo, MI (December 2004) - Prab has maximized its universal scrap handling conveyor. Now, two heavy-duty chains (opposite each other) carries cast flights along dual (side by side) abrasion resistant troughs (flat or v-shaped) conveying and elevating all types of wet or dry metal scrap away from stamping or machining operations - distances of 400 feet are possible.

As with the standard Scrapveyor II this conveyor can be installed either above or below floor and incorporates a uniquely simple design which collects and elevates in one unit. Optional, end distribution systems are available, which automatically direct scrap evenly into disposal containers for maximum load outs. The Scrapveyor II incorporates a self-cleaning design that provides a positive discharge, eliminating the problem of scrap carry-over and the headache of constant pit clean up. And, the low-maintenance Scrapveyor II has fewer moving parts compared to similarly sized hinged belt conveyors. Prab has been a full line manufacturer of products for efficient scrap management since 1950.
